A guest house on two floors for six guests.
Three bedrooms each with a double bed, three bathrooms, two living areas with fireplaces and a fully equipped kitchen — across ground and upper floors, joined by a winding wooden staircase.
No compromises, no surprises. A house that works because someone has thought about every detail.

Some comforts you notice at once: the marble, the brass, the baby grand. One of the most valuable, though, rests quietly in every bedroom – the Swiss stone pine bed.
All three bedrooms at Gästehaus Eltz are furnished with beds of solid stone pine; there is also a dedicated Zirbe room, where the walls and furniture too are made of this Alpine wood. Stone pine brings its fine, resinous scent – and an effect long held as common sense and today measurable.
A sleep study by Joanneum Research and the Human Research Institute found that sleepers in stone pine beds have a lower heart rate – a saving of up to 3,500 beats a day, almost an hour of cardiac work. Heart, circulation and blood pressure settle, sleep grows deeper and more restorative, and the body regulates itself noticeably more calmly, down to a reduced sensitivity to the weather.
So the house comes with something that never quite shines on a list: sleep that is healthier than you would expect on holiday.
