Booking enquiries

When you submit a booking enquiry via the enquiry tool on our website, the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, travel dates, number of guests) is processed in order to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The booking tool is provided by our service provider Smoobu GmbH; data may be transferred to Smoobu in the process. The legal basis is the initiation or performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We do not pass this data on without your consent and retain it only for as long as is necessary to handle the request or as required by statutory retention periods.

Server log files

When you visit our website, the hosting provider automatically stores information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits (IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, browser type). This data serves technical security and the stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is not combined with other data sources.

Web analytics (Google Analytics)

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited. Google Analytics uses technologies that enable the recognition of the user for the purpose of analysing user behaviour. The information collected about the use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server and stored there. You can prevent collection by Google Analytics through appropriate browser settings or by installing a deactivation add-on.

Map display (OpenStreetMap)

To display the location, we embed an OpenStreetMap map on the "Getting Here" page. When it loads, your IP address may be transmitted to the map service.

Your rights

You generally have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can complain to us or to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (www.dsb.gv.at).
